Personnel Placements has been working in Salisbury for over 30 years and supporting the City and it’s community has always been important to us.
Next year, in April 2019, Our MD Lynne Rose will be joining a team from Salisbury who will be trekking the Great Wall of China in support of the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal.
We will be running fundraising events throughout the year so look out for details and any support you can give us will be hugely appreciated. Lynne’s trip is being funded by Personnel Placements so all the money raised will go straight to the Stars Appeal.
Lynne’s decided to take on this challenge for a number of reasons and says:
November 2018 sees me celebrating my 50th Birthday and so I wanted to do something special to not only mark this milestone but also do something that would allow me to give back to the community I live and work in. Both my parents are receiving treatment in the Cardiac Unit and over the years friends, family and people I have met though my work have been cared for and supported by Salisbury Hospital. Doing something like this means I can say THANK YOU and hopefully make a difference to people and their families in need of the care the hospital provides. I’m really looking forward to making new friends, getting fit! and doing something I can look back on and be think “I did that and made a difference to others”. I can’t wait – it’s going to be a real adventure!
