Did you know that our MD Lynne is taking on a charity trek next year? She’s trekking across the desert in Jordan to the ancient city of Petra in support of our local hospital charity – Salisbury District Hospitals Stars Appeal.
Part of her challenge is to fundraise before she heads to Jordan in April 2022 and as Lynne is paying for all of her trip costs herself, every penny she raises before her trek goes straight to the Stars Appeal to support the work they do to help patients receiving care at Salisbury Hospital, their families and the wonderful NHS Staff who work there.
On Friday 22nd October, Lynne ran a Quiz Night at her local village where she was joined by 55 keen quizzers who answered questions on Sport, TV and Film, History, Celebrities and a specialist ‘Star Appeal’. Several local businesses supported the event with sponsorship and raffle prizes and in total she raised £925.
